Some of our Newport staff took part in STV's new healthy living programme called "Coached off the Couch". For the past few months STV have been visiting the nursery and "coaching" our girls through some challenging (but fun!!) sports.

Busy Bee Nursery attended the Baby & Child show at the Adam Smith Centre in Kirkcaldy. We had a fabulous stand where children could make their own gold medals - on hand for the day were Carol Craig (Director), Sandra Davidson (Development Manager) and Lisa and Jennifer from our Kirkcaldy nursery.

Busy Bee Nursery Montrose had a fantastic turnout for our annual Fordmill Picnic. The weather was sunny and the children and parents enjoyed the bouncy castle cake and candy stall raffle face painting and fun games.

Congratulations to Busy Bee, Elmwood College and Busy Bee, Tannage Close – they have both achieved their eco-schools silver award on the same day. Both nurseries are now working towards their Green Flag.

We are delighted to announce that as from August 2012 Busy Bee Nursery Kirkcaldy will be working with Fife Council to deliver pre-school funded nursery sessions.

After many months of hard work Busy Bee Newport has achieved Green Flag Eco-School Status. The eco- committee has been working very hard towards this award and with the help of parents, children and staff their hard work paid off when the eco-school scotland inspector awarded the nursery their 1st Green Flag.
