Montrose staff and children spent an afternoon digging up their vegetables and herbs from the Nursery vegetable garden, cleaned and bagged all produce and then hired a stall at the local Montrose Farmers Market on Saturday 1st October from 9am to 1pm. It was a very busy and “fruitful” venture if not a bit wet – all potatoes, lettuce and herbs were sold out. All produce sold had been planted from seed by the children.
